Changes
I had planned on waiting until Em was 2 to put her in the toddler bed but we decided to do it a little early. For a few weeks we had both her toddler bed and her crib in her room. She would take naps okay in her bed but she always wanted to sleep in her crib at night. As we were de-cluttering our house we decided to go ahead and take the crib down and just have the toddler bed in her room. She didn't like it for the first few nights but last night I decided to leave the door open and the hall light on and she didn't seem to mind that at all. So we will try that again tonight and hopefully that will work. She loves to play on her bed during the day. She often grabs a couple of books from her basket and will sit on her bed to read to her puppies and babies. I am in the process of making a quilt for the little bed that will match the rest of her room.
The reason for all the de-cluttering of the house is that today it went on the market. I know that this is a very bad time to sell the house and we are not going to be making a profit from it but we are really praying that it will sell. Zachary and I have been praying about our future as far as his goals and job are concerned. When our house sells Zachary will be joining the Navy. We are both really excited about this opportunity and all that it entails. He will have 8 weeks of boot camp in Illinois and then on to A school where Emily and I can join him. Depending on what he goes to A school for will depend on where it is and how long it is. After that we will know where we will be stationed. It will be very hard to not have him around and I know that he will miss us like crazy but we both think it will be a good experience for our family and are looking forward to the future. So, please be praying with us that the house sells and we can move on to this next adventure.

WOW! That is a huge decision, and we will be praying for God's peace, endurance, strength and blessings for you. Zachary is so smart and so mechanical that I am sure that he will be able to get into something like the nuclear school. I remember you always said how much you wanted to travel, move and try new things so I am really happy that this will give you that opportunity. Congratulations to your next big adventure! Also, congrats Em on the big girl bed.
I saw on Facebook that you were decluttering your house for sale. I did not suspect a change of this magnitude. I know you two (and family) must have done some serious praying about this. We'll be praying for you, too.
All I am asking is that you go someplace worth visiting so maybe we can come and see you. True, we did not make it to London while Katie and Jay were there. You never know, though. Do they have a Navy base in Yellowstone ;)
I did not see your de-cluttering on facebook. Bummer for me I suppose.
I really like the pictures. Emily is looking very old but cuter every time you post more pictures.
I will sure to be praying with y'all as well that God will quickly show you what He deems best for you. At least we know that that will happen regardless since y'all are seeking His will.
I love you bunches and bunches.
