An escapee
So today Emily was taking a nap and like normal she was laying in her crib just talking to her puppies. She had been laying there for a could long time and I had gone into the garage to start some laundry and when I came back in she was crying pretty hard. I go upstairs to check on her and as I open the door I was greeted by her standing right there. I was shocked that she had actually gotten out of the crib all by herself. There is nothing for her to climb out unto from her crib. Once she is over the rail it is straight to floor. After checking her over to make sure she had not hurt herself I went and found Zachary and he lowered her bed as low as it could go. I can't believe that the next step will be a big girl bed for her.
In other big news we are venturing into the unknown world of potty training. She has been going around saying potty for a few weeks now and so we decided to buy a potty chair and let her get used to it for a little while before we start using it all the time. This is one thing that I have really not been looking forward too. Mostly because public restroom really gross me out and unless I stay home for the rest of my life they are pretty much unavoidable with little kids.
We have been enjoying plenty of days outside this week with the weather being gorgeous. My parents gave us a family membership to Turtle Bay Exploration Park and Emily just loves it. As soon as we pull up she says bralets (bracelets) because we have to get one when we enter and then she heads straight to the large fish aquarium. Last summer she was afraid of the fish but she loves to look at them now. Sometimes she will just sit right down in front of them and watch them for a little while. After we play with the inside stuff we head over to the playground and along the way we say "hi to the animals that they have (a fox, hawk, owls, porcupine and random birds)
Since I didn't get any pictures of Emily in her Christmas dress because she was sick I took her out last week and got some cute ones of her.

Maybe she didn't crawl out. Maybe she jumped out. That would have been cool.
Is Turtle Bay that place with the albino fish? I think that was my favorite.
Great pics. The first one is awesome! Good job!
Excellent! You have given me an answer I have been searching for. Alison, too, has been walking around saying potty. I couldn't figure out why.
Cute photos. Thx.
Other than the fact that all of the pics are not straight, they look pretty good. Nice!
