I'm Happy
I know it sounds so cliche to say that each stage is more fun than the last but it is so true. I have loved each stage so much but this one is so cute because of all the things she is learning daily. Em has been such a blast to hang out with lately. Everyday I am surprised when a new word or sentence comes out of her mouth and I think wow I didn't know you knew that word. Like the other day I was cleaning the kitchen and she comes up to me and says "I'm hungry". I was totally weirded out that she new that. She just thoroughly seems to be enjoying life. Throughout the day she often will just say "I'm Happy"
Today she told me that she had to go potty and so I set her on the big toilet and she thought it was so funny. I kept telling her to go potty and every time I said it she would crinkle up her nose and laugh. She never did go but we are trying at least.
It is so funny how she will copy our words. She likes to call things "honey" because we call her that so often, but it sounds more like "homey" She also likes to say "come on guys" or "come er Anna" or " come on momma" and today after she told me to come and I followed her she told me "good girl"
I love that she shouts "Amen" when we are finished praying. I love that when she is sitting next to someone she will often put her little hand on their shoulder and pat it. I love that she gives lots of kisses without having to ask for them. I love that she always says "thanks momma" when I give her something without any prompting.

She just keeps getting cuter and cuter!!!
I love how much you guys just enjoy every moment with Emily. I think that makes all the difference in the world. I agree with you on every new stage being my favorite. Like you, I just love every moment of this super happy little person. Props to Em for her super good language skills! Wish we lived close enough for a playdate.
She's pretty much the greatest.
Do you think she's actually messing it up when she says "homey," or do you think that maybe she's calling them that due to Uncle Justin and Auntie Bean's influence?
I have to admit that I think she is getting to big! She is so adorable, but those jams she had on yesterday just made her look way to grown up! I DON'T LIKE IT!!!!
I love it that you are loving it and not me. I love loving it as a grandparent. That way, should I not love it, I can love sending them home with parents. I love that.
I love y'all!
I know I love this stage with Wesley. Constantly I am surprised he knows words. He never eats Cheerioes but yet one day asked for them... I was taken back by it. The kisses just because are the best. I like the picture of her with your front door and house, super cute. Love the colors
