Not your ordinary day
Zachary decided that he would take a day off and hang out with his 2 favorite girls. It is always so fun when he takes a day just to hang out together especially when it is a typical work day. He took Em on a couple of errands with him in the morning and then in the afternoon we enjoyed a beautiful day at the park. We took Em down by the river and she had so much fun throwing rocks in the water. Later that evening we went over to Anna's (in this household it is never to Alicia and Neil's. It's always about Anna) where Anna's mommy made some awesome homemade chinese food. Zachary got a lot of little things accomplished around the house and Em and I just enjoyed having him home to hang out with.
I love the smell of things baking in the oven and I was craving some cookies so I decided to bake up some chocolate chip cookies yesterday. While I was upstairs Zachary gave Em a cookie and came upstairs to talk to me. When I came back down I saw that the cooling rack was on her little table so I yelled up to Zachary to ask why he would put the cooling rack on her table and tempt her with all those yummy cookies. Well, he didn't put it there. Em had reached her little hands up to the counter pulled the cookie rack down, set it on her table and grabbed about 7 cookies. She had the evidence in her hand when I looked at her. She just looked up at me and gave me this huge smile. It was so hard not to laugh and tell her that was not okay at the same time. What a little stinker!!

She was holding seven cookies or she had already eaten seven cookies? That's funny.
Mmm. Fresh chocolate chip cookies. Come on! That's tempting to anybody (except those allergic to chocolate). Hopefully you did not relieve her of all 7.
Anna and her parents loved having you over!
That is an awesome picture of your guys shadow!! And I love the story about Em and the cookies!!!
