A Great Weekend
We headed over to the coast this last weekend for a little mini vacation. It was a wonderful time and it was probably one of my favorite mini vacations ever. We had no schedule so we were able to just hang out and go at our leisure. The weather was rainy but there were enough breaks in the rain that we were able to still enjoy some time outside. We took Em to the zoo and to a marine observatory. We ate yummy food, swam and just thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Em liked the zoo but her favorite part were the barnyard animals and she only liked the animals that were smaller then her. Her favorite things were the chickens, kitty and doggy.
After dinner Sunday night Em fell asleep on the way back to the hotel so Zachary and I decided to go sit at the beach for awhile. We found a place that we could park right next to the beach so Em could still sleep in the car and we could sit near the beach. It was so fun to just sit and hear the waves crashing and just each being with each other.
This next weekend was very much needed for us and it was wonderful being together with just the 3 of us.

So sweet. I'm glad that y'all got to go to the coast. Were there any animals at the Marine Observatory that were smaller than her?
Cute as always. :) Now I have her on my work compy in her stripey sweater!
Aw. Cute pics. Well, except for that weird bald-headed dude that showed up in a couple of them. Otherwise, I'm glad y'all had a relaxing time.
Wesley's favorite part of the SF Zoo was the PARK! I could have saved a lot of money:)
