Finally, some vacation pictures
We have been back for some time now and I am finally getting around to posting about our vacation. Emily is quite the little traveler. She did so awesome and never complained about the trip or about being stuck in the car for the long drive. She was in such a great mood the whole time and just loved all the attention she got. Nanny's nice neighbor offered a slide and a few outside toys for Em to play with and she loved it. We traveled mostly at night so that she would sleep and it paid off. On the 23 hour drive from Dallas to Pahrump we only had to stop 2 times for her to get out and run around. She did great!! I love our trips to Dallas to see friends and family.
We are back to our usual stuff around here. I am working on projects for some classes I am teaching at work, which is always fun. Emily is just as adorable as always. She is getting to the point where we don't have to constantly keep an eye on her. The other night we were over at our friends house and she was in the back room playing with the girls and I decided to go check to see what she was doing. I peak in the room and she is sitting at the little table having a tea party. It was so cute to see her pouring pretend tea into little cups and drinking it. After awhile she would bring out some tea to share with us and after we would take a drink she would say "MMMM, MMMMM, MMMM" too cute. This last Sunday on the way to church she started singing along with the Jack Johnson song that was playing. Right now she is suffering from allergies again. Whenever she gets sick and can't breathe very well I always feel so bad for so we go get a Jamba Juice. Jamba Juice always makes you feel better when you are sick :)
We are having so much fun with Em and seeing her learn new things every day. It's funny how you think you couldn't enjoy a stage more than the one you are in right now but then she just gets more and more fun to be around.

Thanks for the info on the walk at Turtle Bay, Brenda. And yes, I just bought the new book but am saving it for next week when I take my mom down to UCSF for her brain surgery recheck, but I would be happy to get it to you after that if you haven't read it yet, let me know. (I'll post this on my comments and your blog in case you don't read my comments again.)
She is so cute! That's so nice that she did well while traveling. That always makes things so much easier. I hope Sophi is that good when we go to Disneyland!
Let me tell you. So far, all the stages of the grandkiddos are much more fun than the stages I remember from our own little rugrats. I am glad you are enjoying yours, though. Thx for the photos.
Those are great pictures! I think I like the one of her sitting with Nanny the best.
