Pray
One of the reasons that I blog is to keep track of things that are happening in our lives. As I scrapbook pages for our family albums I refer back to older posts to find dates of when things happened or what my thoughts were about a certain time in our lives. Sometimes I will just print out the journaling portion of a post and use that on a layout. I like to record cute things that Em does or says and this os one of those times...
This evening the weather outside was very stormy and there was a lot of loud thunder that made the lights in the house flicker. As Em and I were hanging out downstairs she heard the thunder and quickly ran over to sit in my lap. As we were sitting there I asked her if she was ready for dinner and she said "nope, pray" I wasn't sure if she really meant that she wanted me to pray and so I said "you want to pray" and she said "yes". So we prayed and thanked God for the rain and thunder. As soon as I said "Amen" she said "more" and did the sign for "more" a couple of times. I asked her if she wanted to pray this time and she said she did so she repeated a little pray after me. After we said "Amen" she said "more" again. So we prayed together one more time and she was happy with that and got off my lap and went back to playing. I have to admit I got a little teary eyed when she kept asking me to pray. I love that she is starting to understand what pray is. She is absorbing so much right now and I love this little girl to pieces.

That's my girl! I am pretty excited about that too. On a different note, do you think it is a coincidence that I had to type "emisti" as my word verification???
I love that picture! Beautiful eyes :)
Oh my goodness. That was one of the greatest posts I've ever read and you've had some pretty dang good posts on your blog before.
Wow. I love it. That's awesome.
That really was a good post. I am not even going to include any Uncle Randy replies on this one. Thanks for sharing.
