Playing in the mud

Emily has been loving all the puddles around here lately and can never resist stepping in them if she sees one. I thought it would be fun to go out to my parents and let her go crazy in the mud puddles there. At first she was a little reluctant to get wet and when she got her hands dirty she would come over and wipe them on my pants to get clean. But shortly after she jumped in she was having a blast splashing and jumping and chasing us with sticks to try and get us muddy too. She had the most fun trying to get Grandma all muddy. She would chase her and then Grandma would run from her and Em would just laugh and laugh and chase her again. She had a great time and when she was done playing we just took her in and gave her a nice warm bath and headed home for a long nap.

What a bum. (Someone had to say it.)
Those are great pictures. The one with her in mid-walk is really good.

Oh, you dirty girl. Wait! Who was I talking to? Emily for the muddy outfit or Brenda for posting these pictures? You can decide for yourselves. Still, it seems a good time was had by all.
