Funny little girl
Can you tell that my life revolves around this little girl now, since that is all that I post about lately. Because that is what you expect I will continue with my little Emily stories.
She is 9 weeks old now and growing so much. She had her 2 month checkup on Monday and weighs in at 12lbs 3oz. and is 22 3/4in long. She is now out of her newborn clothes and into 0-3 months. It is so hard to resist buying her all the cute clothes that I see. In fact I gave in the other day and bought her a cute brown and purple outfit at old navy complete with matching hat. My dad says that he likes to see her in other colors besides pink all the time so really I bought it to make him happy :) There is a really nice second hand store right next to my work and was able to get her some other cute summer clothes for only a few $$. A girl can never have to many clothes.
Her new thing is to suck on her whole fist. She still doesn't have control of her hands yet but when it comes by her mouth she grabs it and will suck it forever. The other night shortly after Zachary came home from work we heard this load slurping sound coming from her crib and when we looked in on her sure enough she was sucking her fist. We couldn't help but laugh because she was so loud about it. She also like to suck on blankets. Not to found of a pacifier still, but give her a blanket and she will stick it in her mouth. Talk about cotton mouth.
She loves to watch t.v. too. This came about the other night when she was fussy and I wanted to eat so I set her in her bouncy seat and she sat in front of the t.v. for about 30 min just watching it. Maybe that in itself wouldn't mean anything but the other day she was on the couch facing the opposite direction and turned her head just to see the t.v. And she sat and watched American idol with me last night too. She was shocked that Melinda got voted off and is voting for Blake now. I really don't want her to be a t.v. watcher but what can I do.

What a crazy little goon!!!
I agree with Emily (and you) Melinda shouldn't have gotten voted off but I've been wanting Blake to win since the beginning, so what'ya gonna do.
Yeah girl!! I like Blake, too!
Her eyes are SO beautifully blue. They look especially awesome in that 2nd picture.
She is so cute and growing SO fast! Walker never sucked a pacifier, but he still sucks his little blanket all the time. When we pick him up at nursery, he's always got it hanging out of his mouth!
