Baby Stuff

Well, the collection has started and it is only going to get more abundant from here. Many of you have sent us some very cute baby things and we really appreciate it. Everything is so soft and cuddly. (Lauri you will love the baby's little duck) I am looking forward to when we can go register for all the fun stuff at Target.

Next week I have my first appointment with the OB and I am pretty sure that we will get to do an ultrasound too. Then we will have the first picture of our baby. Whenever I have looked at other peoples ultrasound pictures and they point out the different body parts I just play along, but really I am thinking how the heck can you tell, all I see is a blob. But, this will be our baby and it will be so cute. I am sure that we will be able to see cute little fingers and toes.

Why are ducks so big with babies? Not that I'm against them. I think that that litte duck is very cute. Thankfully, I note, there is still a balance between pink and blue. Maybe that's why ducks are so popular, they are a neutral color. Oh well, I'm very excited and I look forward to the numerous fun times I shall have with my niece or nephew.

I think to go with the other socks, I am going to get your kid some argyle socks and shoes. What do ya think? Maybe argyle footy pajamas instead. Oh if only they exsisted. I am not going to lie, when you show me the picture I will probably just play along as well. Not that it matters, I know its a girl.

So EXCITING!!!
I hope your appointment next week means that the whole insurance thing finally came through. Will Z be able to go with you for that first look at the baby? I wish we were there!

I love the cute little duck! I had a similar duck when I was little that I just loved. Recently, my mom let Atticus play with it and alas the duck is no more. Kara and Aaron got a video of their ultrasound. It was pretty cool and you could see all the parts as Walker moved around.

Yes, I will be going with her, after all, it is my baby too! I agree with Jeremy, a girl would not have been able to form fingers and toes yet, she would have been too busy worrying about her hair and facial features!

Hmm. I know that, in the past, ultrasound images have looked like those Rorschach ink blots. And yes, you always say "Oh, yeah, I see it." when they show you, but it is not true. What you really need to know is you have a healthy infant no matter which sex it is. Boys and girls are both precious.

Are you going to post the sonogram pic when you get it? Do you think you'll have one of those 3D sonos taken when you get farther along? They are pretty cool!

Aaaawwww! I just can't wait Brenda!! We're praying for you. I really hope you can stop being sick soon so that you can enjoy looking forward to it a little more. I *love* that cute little duck. Especially how he's posing on your computer like that. :D It looks like I'm too late to get it an "I love my Auntie" bib. I suppose I could make it one that says "I love my Auntie Eisel" though, and then everyone would know that it's from me. tee hee!
So this means that we'll get to find out even sooner if it's a boy or a girl?!?!? That means all the more clothes it will get because people will know the colors!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaay! Wow. Is it just me, or do my comments keep getting longer? I'm just so stinkin' excited!
