Warm beaches
Well, we are having a great time on our vacation thus far. On Saturday we decided to go down to Corpus Christi so that we could play in a warm beach. I am pretty sure I have never swam in a warm ocean. It was so wierd! Even though I knew that is was going to be warm it still felt wierd as I put my feet in. We went to one beach that was covered in shells so we did a little seeking and we found some really cool ones. Zachary also caught a jelly fish and brought it to me so that we could take some pictures. On Sunday we went to a little town and did some antiquing as well as rafted down the guadalupe river. We took a water camera and those are be developed now. It took us about 3 hours to go 3/4 of a mile but it was relaxing and the water felt good after walking around for a few hours beforehand. I have been to 4 scrapbooking stores and a Hobby Lobby so far and I haven't even been up to Dallas yet. Tomorrow I am going to the memory bucket to do some much antcipated scrapbooking. Katie got me a gift certificate as an early birthday present to that store and I am very excited to use it. The boys are making progress on their work projects and we are all having a great time hanging out together. Oh, yes, I have already enjoyed Sonic numerous times.

looks like you guys are having a blast. And good job with the posting while on vacation.
just wanted to say it good to have you hear. We really think you should stay for an extended period. I hear they have good housing prices down here.
Great pics! Funny, I don't think I've ever swam in water that wasn't pretty warm. Hawaii was a little cooler than Texas beaches but not alot!
Thanks for the picture of the Jelly. Oh yeah, I won't gripe at you, but if anyone from the Monterey Bay Aquarium catches this blog, they won't let you call them Jellyfish 'cause they're not fish. They still call seahorses seahorses even though they're not horses. Now, aren't you glad that you know that now? Is the memory bucket anything like the Chum Bucket?
Sounds like tons of fun. Who wrote that in the sand? It must have been great to swim in a warm ocean! Cool pictures.
You should keep the jellyfish as a pet. I'm sure it would get along great with the turtles.
That was not nice of you, trying to steal that jelly's frisbee while it was hanging out at the beach.
And a water camera, huh? Maybe an ice camera, but I just don't see how they got the water to stay in place to take a picture with it. I must really be getting old.
Sounds like fun! When you come here, maybe we can get in the pool. The water's warm. That crafty purse is amazing! I've been meaning to ask you about the taggy blanket you made. Walker loves tags.
HEY, brenda and zachary! Don't recall for sure when you get back to CA. Is it today? Well, I hope you have a good flight. Guess what? We got "bumped up" to 1st class coming back to Phx, because the plane was not full!! That was a fun experience! Be sure, on your next trip...whenever...to try to spend a few days with us! Our next trip will be to Pahrump to visit a couple of days, then bring C & L back here with us for a visit while the folks are at conference. Lucky dogs, getting to go to Estes Park!!! Love you. Gmom (COG)
It was fun to see you when you were in Dallas. I love your purse but I'm going to be satisfied just to look at yours rather than try one myself. I did manage to make Walker a taggie today though.
