11 weeks and counting
Well, this pregnancy thing is not for me so far. I definitely don't have that pregnant women glow. It is more like a green with nausea glow. They say that you forget about all the sickness after the baby arrives. But all I can say is that it better be far, far, far from my mind or we might be a one child family. I am pretty good with pain but with this nausea thing I can say that it does not sit well with me. (pun intended). I am praying that I only have one more week and then I will start feeling better. (zachary is probably praying harder though. I am sure that he would like a clean house again and some homecooked food instead of the frozen stuff he has been getting)
We are off to cooler weather this weekend. I am hoping that it will be a nice refreshing change and that I will fare well. Jeremy and Kristi are camping over on the coast this weekend with their family and they invited us to come visit. We were going to camp with them but Zachary decided that we should stay in a hotel instead so that I have a nice clean bathroom since that is were I spend most of my time lately. I had no complaints with that idea. We are headed out Saturday morning and will be coming home Monday. I think Zachary is going to go golfing too so that should be fun for him. Well, thanks everyone for your prayers and keep it up.
I know that my ticker says 10 weeks still, but my doctor told me last week that on Thursdays I start a new week. So that is what I am going with. I need all the encouragement I can get.

i can totally sympathize! I was so sick! It's the worst! The baby does make it worth it but I'm sorry to say you do not forget what the sickness felt like...it pretty much sticks with you.
Hooray for Thursdays! Every Thursday I am going to call you and have you measure your waist for me so we can keep a log of how the baby is growing. Won't that be fun! Okay, maybe not, I wouldn't want you to have to change your phone number. I'll just come over instead!! See ya next Thursday! I'll bring the tape measure!
Maybe it won't be a boy but it'll be okay anyway. I'm glad that y'all get to go to the coast and I hope that you'll have a fun time. Eleven weeks to find out if it's a boy or a girl is too long. You can tell me in November or whenever that is and I won't be irritated if it's a girl. Too irratated that is. :)
Sorry you still aren't feeling well. We had high hopes when we heard you went a whole day without puking! We're praying for y'all!! Did you get my email?
Well, have fun at the coast and we'll talk to you soon!
I'm sorry you're still sick. Have fun at the coast. I predict Zachary putting a computer in the bathroom in the near future.

Stop listening to all those guys, its a girl! I can feel it my bones which is impressive.
Kayla can feel it her bones, not "in" her bones, just her bones! That is really weird!
I hope you have a lot of fun "camping" in the motel. I'm envious that you get to go to Patrick's Point. Isn't that where you're going? I was thinking that was it, and now I'm not so sure.... but I still wish I was going to the coast too, even if it's not P's P. We're still praying that you'll get to feeling better!
I SO CAN'T WAIT TO BE AN AUNT!!!!! :)
I'm sure the sickness will pass and I know you will get the "glow". I am very happy for you guys.
Oh, Brenda, I know you are feeling some morning/afternoon/evening sickness with this pregnancy, but serving your husband frozen food is just sad. So, I guess he's having steaksicles, fishsticksicles, tunacasserolesicles, with drpeppersicles to drink. So, I know I join him in hoping you'll feel better quickly.
Okay, since Zachary is apparently like the grammar and spelling Nazi! I apologize to the whole blogging community for my grave error. However, in my defense, I think we all knew what I meant now didn't we.
Bless your heart. Pregnancy sickness is the worst. I was sicker than a dog with all of mine for the entire first 3 months. I used to teach my class and then just go throw up in the trash can and teach some more. Actually that was my best one. Staying real busy and not giving in to the sickness seemed to help the most. With Joel I wasn't working and just laid on the couch for 3 months. That was the worst. With Ben I determined not to give in and I kept going regardless of how I felt. That seemed to help. Still -- I'm sorry. But really and truly -- well worth it! Obviously -- we have lots of kids!
I'll keep praying for you.
Hi, Brenda! I know you are lonely at home without Zachary while he is in TX for the funeral. We are praying for you. Like Denise, I know from 4 pregnancies that morning (or midday or all day) sickness is the pits. Here's what to look forward to...it'll be in the past soon, and you'll for sure have "the glow" then! Call if you need to talk...we're usually home. COG
