Tide Pools
While we were over on the coast enjoying wonderful cool weather for the 4th of July weekend we took Em down to some tide pools. She had a great time trying to find starfish for her daddy to pick up. I thought for sure she wouldn't touch any when Zachary showed them to her but she surprised us and even held a few. As soon as Zachary put one back in the water she asked him to find some more. It was low tide and we found quite a few for her to touch. She screams when a "ladybug" (all bugs and crawly things are known as ladybugs) or any other crawly thing is around but she doesn't seem to mind slimy ocean creatures. Funny Girl!!

I'm jealous! We looked at lots of tidepools in Oregon and never saw anything! We really wanted to find starfish.
That was fun and the eskimo kisses are awesome!!!!
Where did you do that at? Emily is so brave and willing to try new things. I think that is so great!

It would be interesting for her to say 'slimy ocean creature' instead of 'ladybug.'
Now if she goes back to SeaWorld she won't know what to do when she's told not to touch the starfish.
