Baking Cookies for Daddy

Today was a good day for some fresh baked cookies. It was cold and rainy outside and Em was needing something to do so I thought it would be fun to let her help me bake Zachary's favorite cookies...M&M. She was quite the little helper. She managed to not break the egg she was holding, she poured some of the ingredients in for me and loved to stir the dough (often sneaking a few bites.  She thought is was very funny when I dumped in the flour and kept saying "oh, boy more mamma". After we got them in the oven I turned the oven light on and showed her the cookies baking in the oven and she thought it was great so she went and grabbed her blankie and watched the cookies. She only watched them for a few minutes but she would keep coming back to check on them.  I love that she is at this stage where we can do these things together.
