Silly Girl

Emily has been such a silly girl lately. She can make the funniest faces and we just bust up laughing... which only makes her more silly. As of about 2 weeks ago she is a walker (yes she was born a Walker but now she actually has the ability to walk) No more funky crawling for her. She is still a little wobbly but she is determined to stand on her own two feet. She now gives us hugs and kisses when we ask. It always brings a smile to our face when she gives kisses. Tonight for instance I put her to bed and a few minutes later I remembered I needed to go back in the room to get her bottle so I could wash it. I slowly cracked open the door and peaked inside to see if she was sleeping. She heard it open and saw me so I decided I would grab the bottle wand walk out but she sat up and I couldn't resist giving her a little hug and when I did she reached up and gave me a little kiss then laid right back down and went to sleep...too cute.
She has recently decided that she only likes to eat fruit or not eat at all. We are not sure how to handle this dilemma yet. We try not to give her snacks in between her meals and even then she won't eat what we give her. I try and feed her but she closes her lips tight and won't let anything in. What a stinker. Tips anyone? Do I introduce new foods or just keep trying the same thing until she eats it?
We are getting ready to enjoy some cooler weather over on the coast next weekend. And even more exciting is that Caleb and Lauri are coming over to have Jamba Juice with us. Okay, they are going camping with us too. Looking forward to spending time with them and many trips to Jamba and Starbucks.
