An afternoon swim
We bought Emily a new swimsuit that has flotation inserts in it. I thought it was a neat concept in that we can deflate one chamber at a time as she learns to swim. She did really well with it when we went swimming and was able to float a little without our help. She loves the water so much no matter how cold it is she would stay in it forever.
She is still not walking exclusively. She will take a little step once in awhile but she would still rather crawl everywhere. She has added so many words to her vocabulary lately including hot, minnie mouse and stinky. She seems to have a picky palette as well. She will try something after we take a bite and tell her it is good. Otherwise she just wrinkles up her nose closes her mouth and says no. We are having so much fun with our soon to be 16month old. She makes us laugh every day and we love our sweet little girl.

My favorite right now is "Where's he go?" That's so stinkin adorable!!
She's such a cutie.
Linnea has a picky pallet too! In fact, we are having a terrible time with solids and I wanted to talk to you about how you did it with Em. Love the pictures of Zachary and Emily in the pool. Too Cute!
Awwww!! I'm glad you went with the purple swim suit. :) I want to see a video and hear her talk though! One of these days we're gonna have to go to Dad's office and have a video chat again. I notice the Bockers are still using that wooden ladder- I'm surprised it's not like, disintegrated by now!
So Welsey went through the SAME thing at 16 months. I just dealt with it and it got better. Then I saw this mom on TV talking about how it will take up to 20 times to introduce a food before a child will like it or try it... good luck!
Wow! It's good thing ZKW caught Emily before her little floatie swimsuit floated right away in that last photo. I guess she would have come back down at some point, though.
