Blue skies and clean air

Beautiful blue skies and fresh clean air are just 2 of things that I took for granted. I love living in Northern California where on most days you can see the surrounding mountains and breathe in fresh air. Not the case this summer where most days are spent indoors to avoid breathing the smoky air and you can barely see to the end of the street. However this last weekend Emily and I were able to breathe healthy air once again. We spent a great weekend in Tahoe with Heather and the kids. We swam in the Lake, did some shopping ( I got to go to 3 scrapbook stores) and just hung out together. The day we went to the Lake we stayed for about 3 1/2 hours and Emily pretty much played in the water the whole time except for the occasional snack break.

Missed y'all over the weekend (that's usually when I get my Emily fix!) but glad you had such a great time! I'm surprised she was okay with being that muddy...but I guess it's just because there was water involved, huh?

Looks like everyone had a great time. I can't tell if Emily has a dirty mouth or not. I do remember that Alison did. In fact, I think she still does...but that's a story for another comment.
