Ice Cream, Ice Cream...
We had the best week last week. Zachary took the whole week off and we just enjoyed hanging out at home. We had originally talked about taking a little vacation or even just a few day trips but decided that we would most enjoy just staying home and getting some thing done around the house and just relax a little. Zachary got most of the things crossed off his to do list and I enjoyed having him around. He took Emily on a lot of his errands which aloud me some time to do some scrapbooking. On one night we decided to take a walk to a little ice cream place by our house. So I called to make sure they would be open and they said they were open until 7:00. We get to the ice cream place at 6:00 and go up the window to order ice cream and they said that they just shut down the machine to clean it for the night. I was so bummed, I really wanted a soft serve ice cream. When I called I didn't think to ask if you would still be serving food an hour before you close. So we walk back home and promptly get in the car and head to Dairy Queen to get a soft serve cone. On the way home I gave Emily a little taste and of course one bite is never enough. I told her that she could have more when we got home so she wouldn't make a mess in the car. But, she wanted it now and Daddy was for sure not driving fast enough to get us home so she could have some. (She is still learning patience) After we did get home she pretty much ate the whole cone and loved every minute of it.
I am in the process of making camera straps for DSLR/SLR cameras to sell at the scrap book store. I just finished 3 tonight and they turned out really cute. I am considering trying to sell them at some craft fairs soon too. So if you know of anyone that would like a custom camera strap for their camera rather then a boring black one and would be happy to oblige.
Looking at scrapbook blogs is something that you would find me doing often, and of the ones that I frequent all are designers for certain companies. A lot of times they give away product and all that is required is to either leave a comment or guess a question correctly and they will pick a winner. Well, within the last 2 months I have won on 2 different blogs. The last one my name was picked out of 256 comments. I had actually forgotten about it until I opened her blog Saturday morning and saw my name in big green font. It totally made my day. I can't wait until my package arrives in the mail and I can see all the goodies I won.

SO cute, I loved that little sweatshirt. I also loved watching my girls devour Ice Cream Cones. Congrats on your winnings.
Such cute pictures, I've always seen a lot of you in Emily, but in the last picture I can finally see a bit of Zachary in her coming out more. And it's not the ice cream face. :) Enjoy your winnings!
Brenda, she is so beautiful!!! What great photos, love you blog too!
So I what age do we get patience figured out? Because I think Emily is going to be a long time figuring it out is she is like the rest of the world. good luck with that!
She continues to be darling!
It reminds me of Bella eating ice cream. Now that I think about it, Alison *still* eats ice cream and looks like that afterward. Thanks for another post, and congrats on winning stuff.
