Warm Weather Fun
The weather the past few weeks has been beautiful and Emily enjoyed every minute of it. She is such an outside girl. She loves the warm sunshine on her face. We spent as much time outside as would allow. We took many trips to the park, walked to the library and to get ice cream. She loved it all. One of her favorite things to do is to swing at the park. She likes it best when you catch the swing on its return and then let go again. As much as I enjoy cold rainy weather I am looking forward to the fun stuff that we can do outside with Emily this summer.
I have really been enjoying the photography class that I am taking online. I have learned so much about my camera and that I really want a new lens too. Hopefully I can get a new lens soon.
It looks like my sister and I get to take the girls to Disneyland next month and I am beyond excited. So I know that they won't really remember it yet but I will get tons of adorable pictures and it will just be a blast to go and hang out. Last time Emily and I were down there we only got to go to downtown Disney and didn't actually get to go inside Disneyland. (Emily was very disappointed)
Only a few more weeks until the BIG party!! Things are coming together and we are very excited to have family coming to visit!!

Hey, what kind of class are you taking? General photography or dedicated to digital photography? And what manipulation software are you using? Also, what camera do you have? Mine is point-and-shoot, so I don't have the option of new/additional lenses. Well, maybe after I get a job, huh?

Wow that was quite a few questions and I will attempt to answer them for you. The class I am taking is mostly general with an emphasis on SLR cameras. It is a 12 week course and we are on week 7. I have a Nikon D40 and I love it. It is a great camera for what I want to do. I have some actions for CS2 that I have used but the recent pictures have been straight of my camera with the exception of the edge blur which I just did in iphoto. Hope that answers all your questions. Let me know if you have any more.

I can not wait to see the girls at Disneyland. I bet they will jump up and down for excitement! Or maybe that will be us! I think they are totally ready. We will have to coridonate outfits you know!
