a few layouts
I have had some time to scrapbook lately and it is a blast. Here are a few of the layouts I created. They didn't scan that well so they may seem a little off. The first one is one of my favorite pictures of Zachary and Emily. There is a little journaling on the tag that talks about how Zachary and I really liked the song from Ben Folds Five and one day we heard it again after Emily was born and Zachary said that is exactly how he felt. I made a mental note that I had to make a page with it and I thought it went perfect with the picture.
I have to admit that I was nervous about how I would look right after Emily was born and people snapping pictures everywhere. But I do like this picture of Emily and I. The journaling speaks for itself.
I have come to the conclusion that I don't have to scrapbook every picture or I will get way to overwhelmed. I didn't want a huge amount of pages from the hospital so the third layout was a good way to do a page with multiple pictures. Under the right side is her birth story.
And lastly Emily's 3 month page. I did it while I was at work today and thought it turned out really cute.
I have a lot more layouts that I have done but you will just have to come for a visit to see them.
Side note: we went to Tahoe this last weekend. We had a great time and I will post pictures soon.

Those pages are awesome! I especially liked the Ben Folds song being used on that first page. Good idea. Good song.
I guess I'll have to come see you so I can take a look at some more.
I love the 3 month layout! Of course they all look great. I am always proud of myself for just printing the pictures and putting them into an album :)
We love her so much! She's so sweet!
If it is a possibility then I think that Emily will end up being overscrapped. I think that is a new word isn't it? She is beautiful though.
sweet scrapbook pages! tahoe sounds like fun, i want to go there in the winter though.
