My fun finds
On Saturday my sister and I went to a parking lot antique sale and I found some really neat things. I love to collect vintage stuff and my favorite find of the day was the old Dr. Pepper crate that you see in the picture. Before I bought it I called my brother to look on-line to see how much they were selling for. After he told me that he found one for $50 I decided that the $15 asking price was too good to pass up. I was also able to pick up an old popcorn popper for $2. The tins you see in the picture I bought at a previous yard sale for .25 but I just got around to cleaning them on Saturday so I thought I would show them off as well. Now all my great little finds are proudly dislayed on what Zachary calls his future entertainment area. (aka as above my kitchen cabinets) I also found alot of really cute stuff for the baby's room providing that it is a boy. If it is a boy then it will be an Americana room and if it is a girl then it will be it pink toille and cream. Being that we have no idea what the gender is (only 2 more days until we find out, providing that it cooperates) I decided to wait and not buy the other cute stuff I found. Fortunately I talked to a few people and got their numbers so that I can go back and get some stuff if it is a boy.
We had a great time in Tahoe last weekend accept that our car blew up (but that is a different story) We stayed at Heather's sisters vacation home (pictured below) and is was very nice. Neither Zachary or I had ever been to Tahoe and we thought it was beautiful. On Sunday we drove around and looked at the lake and some of the multi million dollar homes then stopped and had lunch in a nice park. Then the boys decided after we had our stomach's full to go off roading and took us to the top of a mountain we were could pretty much see all of lake Tahoe. It was a short mini vacation but we had a great time nonetheless.

That DP thing is like the the most awesome thing that I've seen in a while. I'm so glad that y'all got to go to Tahoe.
Looks like you had quite the sucessful garage sailing day. I hope you got the numbers of those people so you can *return* some stuff, you know, since you're having a girl.
I'm glad you had such a fun time! Those things you got look awesome! So, are you planning on getting that house? :) I can't wait to find out if I'm getting a niece or a nephew!!!!! Nice pictures by the way.
Finally an update. Wha tdid you do finish the riddle? Now you just need to tell your husband to update.
What the heck is a toille, does it have anything to do with toilets? I don't really know that a little girl will be that fond of toilets!
I can tell by your reference to toille that Denise and Kara have influenced you greatly!! I don't have anything like toille but at least I know what it is!! And your plans sound great. Congrats on your garage sale finds.
We, too, liked Tahoe when we were there several years ago. So beautiful.
Love you both..all three! COG
Sweet, I love yard sales. Glad you had a good time.
Bubble, bubble, toille and trouble. When baby arrives, life's craziness will double.
