A few highlights

Well, we had a great visit in Pahrump, Nevada this last week. I am sorry to have it end but it does mean that I am that much closer to being done with this crazy pregnancy. I am definitely not one of those people that enjoys being pregnant. I did find some comfy maternity jeans so that is a plus. Anyway, here are a few highlights from our trip.

1- The boys bought airsoft guns early in the week so we had to be careful not to get in the line of fire at all times! They spared no one! The ground at the Walker's home now is a very colorful display and little bullets.

2- I am now the 3rd place chili cookoff winner for 2006 at Pahrump Community Church!! Zachary was one of the judges and mine was still his favorite but since there were 3 other people judging I don't fault him. We had a great time at their Harvest festival Saturday night. The only bummer part was that we tried the cake walk and didn't win. Which was wierd because we had Caleb,Lauri, Zachary and me on squares and we played mutilple times but we still didn't win. I really needed ones of those cakes too. (Well, the baby needed one not me) I did have my share of cotton candy and popcorn though. Oh, and tons of candy!

3- We went up to the mountains and stayed in a cute little cabin and did alot of 4-wheel driving. I am very thankful that the Walker's jeep is not as bouncy as our truck. We did some geo-caching which required lots and lots of hiking. I am not much of a hiker but I am pretty sure that we were cimbing up a hill that was kinda like climbing the face of Half Dome. We made it down by sliding on our rear and getting our pants all dirty. After much searching and almost giving up they fianlly found the cache they were after and were happy little campers.

5- The walker boys (Unlce Randy, Grandad, Caleb, Keith and Zachary) sang in church on Sunday and they sounded awesome. Zachary is so thrilled when he gets together with his family to sing. Their voices all blend so beautifully and they have such an great time singing together. One of my favorite things about Zachary is his singing voice. I could just listen to him for hours!! Good Job Walker Quintet!!

Thats a cute shirt your wearing, unfortunately your knee was in the way in that picture, and I couldn't see how fat you've been getting. Glad you had fun and maybe one of these days you can challenge my mom with her chili, you know she won a contest too.

Your child is going to be born with cavities if you keep it up with all the candy. Oh well, if you're gonna throw it up it might as well be something that tastes good the second time.

Thanks for the comment baby! I am so glad that you finally got rid of that song on your blog, I was pretty tired of it!

Brenda, we so enjoyed getting to be with you and Zachary. Made us feel like "old times" in Redding, when we would drive up there, and then you and Z would come over a lot!! And having Randy and Kathie there just made it even better.
I liked your chili, too!! Love, COG

Have you been to the new store in our mall? Its called Sweet Baby Jane and its a store for baby clothes (hence the name). I went in there today and looked around... I got some looks, but maybe that because I was walking around rubbing my belly while I shopped.
