The happiest place on earth

I am so excited!! Two weeks from today I will be in Disneyland. We finally got our tickets and all the coupon stuff the other day so now it seems more real. We have early addmittance to the park on two of the days and a character breakfast for one of those. How fun will that be. I will be sure and post a picture of us with Mickey Mouse. Any characters you would like to see us with? Because you know I would be willing to do that for you. This will be Zachary's first time ever at Disneyland and he can hardly contain his excitement. (okay, maybe not but I am excited for both of us plus anyone one else who should be excited too.) Here is a bit of information that you may have not known about disneyland-
There is a whole crew just to dust the window sills on Main Street.
Among the first guests at Disneyland in 1955 was George Lucas (then 11) and his family.
Prior to opening day, Walt visited a few of the local churches and invited a handful of the best behaved children from the Sunday School classes to attend the opening day festivities.
Disneyland uses over 200,000 light bulbs per year costing over $100,000. Each light is replaced when it has reached 80% of its design life rather than when it fails.
If your Mickey balloon pops while in the park, Disneyland will replace it anywhere they sell balloons, even if you find a "dead" balloon in the park yourself, or bring an old one back inside.
Disneyland has its own "jail" where misbehaving guests and the such can be kept while Disneyland Security waits for Anaheim Police to come for them.
Approximately 28 tons of trash are collected during an average day.
