Bragging rights!!

Okay I just wanted to share with all of you how awesome my husband is incase you didn't realize it. He may not be the most romantic guy, but he has done amazing things for me. I feel a little guilty because he has done so much for me in our new house and done very little for himself. The first thing he did when we got our house was get our washer and dryer hooked up. When I say the first thing that is exactly what I mean. They gave us the keys and we went straight to my parents house to get the washer and dryer out of the shed. He made shelves for the pantry, got me a shoe organizer, put up my hammock chair right away and put a shelf in the garage to put all the detergent on. Sometimes I get sad becasue he may not think to buy flowers or to say I love you all the time but he shows it in so many ways. He can do just about anything from helping me with computer stuff, fix the cars when they are being stupid, do electrical work, he is great with money ( I would be in so much trouble without him) he can teach great Awana lessons, he has an amazing voice and he can always make me laugh. I am so blessed that God brought us together and didn't let me have my way ( I told myself that I would never marry someone younger or shorter than me). He is just an all around handy guy to have around. I guess he's a keeper.

Brenda,
I love your neighborhood! It's so cute, and it sounds like you are getting your house all organized. I think Zachary really must love you, even if he is young and short!=) I'm glad y'all are enjoying domestic life so much. On a different note, when you make cards to mail out, where do you get the envelopes? I'm trying to make my own birth announcements, but I can't find any envelopes to buy.

I think we are all better off alot of the time when God doesn't let us have our way! Sometimes I want some dumb things and he always has such a great plan. Zachary is lucky to get a whole post about how much you love him :)

Thanks for the tip on envelopes. I'll check at Walmart. I will probably have tons of questions once I actually get into making the announcements. I'm not particularly "crafty." (I mean that in the scrapbook/card-making/flower-arranging sense, not the sneaky sense.)

You're right about the computer stuff and fixing tires in between church and meetings, he's quite the stud. As soon as I get my computer working right I'll make a post about my shoes.

He hooked up the washer and dryer first and added a shelf for detergent. How can you even *think* that he is not romantic? And he did all that while still being younger and shorter than you? You are right to brag about that.

Man he's such a stud. I feel like going and unhooking the dryer and then rehooking it and then putting the shelf back up....oh wait I guess that wouldn't matter. We're leaving! But I'm sure glad your new house is the sweetness that y'all hoped and prayed it would be.

I'm glad you're gonna keep him around! Besides, he'd be lost without you, too.
