The walls in our house are painted and they look great! Adding color to the walls just adds so much warmth to the house. The walls however have no artwork on them and they are quite large and it would be expensive to buy large prints for them. I have seen the idea before to have the kids paint canvases to hang on the wall. I knew that Em would love the idea so we went for it. I have 6 of them for her to paint but I decided to let her paint 2 at a time so that she wouldn't get overwhelmed. I gave her a few different types of brushes to paint with and also told her that she could paint with her hands if she wanted too. She had a great time and we plan to finish the rest in the next few days and then put up her masterpieces!

Could her smile possibly be any cuter?? I don't think so. That's as cute as they come. Can't wait to see the canvases in our awesome green dining room!
That looks like they came out better than anything you could buy. Great idea.
Super fun!!! I can't wait to see them. You are really doing a lot to make it a very homey home. Anna asked me tonight when she can see Emily. She said she would like to see her "RIGHT NOW". I told her that sounds good to me.
