Naval Air Museum

On Saturday we went to the Naval Air Museum here in Pensacola. I honestly didn't think that it would hold my interest but I wanted to go there because it is just one of those things that you need to do while here. Well, I was pleasantly surprised at how fun it was. Although I am sure Zachary could have spent several more hours there. They had a little play area for kids which Em loved and they had some planes you could get into and look around. The place is huge! I liked how you can go on the 2nd story and see the planes that are hanging from the ceiling a little closer. Many of these planes are restored from crashes, some from the bottom of the ocean and they actually find some of the pilots that flew these planes and get the history. Many of the pilots volunteer to help restore the planes to their original glory. All in all I am glad we were able to go and it was a great Saturday with my family.

As always, those are great pictures. I'd probably have to pick either the one where they're both crouching in front of the black plane or the one where she's looking through the binoculars. Thanks for the pictures.

Wow! Those Blue Angel dudes can fly anywhere, right? I hope you ducked as they flew by.
