Lake Day

Having no plans on Sunday afternoon turned out to be a great idea. We had intended to have lunch and then take naps and that was all we were going to do for the day. That is until our friends Steve and Trish called up and asked us to go to the lake with them.  Going to the lake when it is still cold was kind of a foreign idea to me.  Whenever we go out on the lake it is always crazy hot and the water feels nice to get in. But this time around I wore pants and had no intention of getting in the water.  The day proved to be a ton of fun.  Zachary and Em had never been on jet skis before and they both liked it. I think Zachary more than Emily.  Emily loved being on the boat and going fast. Zachary and I got stranded in the middle of the lake for about 20 minutes and he actually jumped in the water to try and figure out what was wrong with the jet ski but we ended up just sitting there until they came back to find us.  The rest of the day we just hung out on the boat and enjoyed the sunshine.
