A little taste of summer

Emily had her 15 month well baby check-up yesterday. She weighed in at 22.5lbs and 29 3/4" long. The doctor was impressed with the sigh language that she is learning. She has please down pat and thinks that whenever she says please she get what she wants. Like the other day she saw me putting the graham crackers away and without any prompting on my part she starts saying "P" and rubbing her hand over her chest (the sign for please). How could I not give her one more graham cracker...too cute! I try and introduce at least one new sign a day and use it whenever I say that word. It is amazing how much she picks up.

What says summer more than a little girl sitting in her pool enjoying a popsicle. It was her very first one and she loved it! It was so cute seeing her enjoying it so much. I actually had to give her 2 because she ate the first one so fast and I wasn't done taking pictures of her enjoying it yet. After she played in the pool she decided to go on a little walk. She is so close to walking on her own but is not quite there yet. She can balance very well and will often squat down and pick things up without holding on but she is still a little scared to venture off on her own.

Those are great pictures. I suppose you could teach her the sign for Star Wars, but you might want to come up with that one on your own.

Just be careful when her grandma comes. She may forget that she knows please. :) I love the pictures! That swim suit is adorable. Did you pick orange popsicles so they would match? =)

I like Eisel's comment about grandma and please!! :)
Adorable pictures. I love how you darkened the edges of the pictures. It looks awesome, especially with all the bright colors in the pictures.

Mmm. I'll eat two popsicles if you want to take my photo. I'll even use Emily Walker's walker. I already have a bathing suit almost exactly like that.
