A hodgepodge of happenings
Well, the new year is here and I am a little relieved that the holiday season is over. I love Christmas time but sometimes I just get overwhelmed with all that I had planned to do and I always tell myself that I will not do so much the next year but I always end up doing just as much. I took down all the decorations last night and after hauling it all up to the attic and putting Zachary's massive ladder away I found one that forgot to get in the box. So now I have to find a place to store it for a year and then not forget where I stored it when I get the rest of the decorations out next year.
We have one more Christmas celebration with the Nevada Walker's at the end of the month. We are going skiing in Tahoe for the weekend and it should be a great time together. I think that my favorite part will be when I can get Emily up in the morning and give her over to Grandma and then go back to bed. I really look forward to getting some good sleep whenever we visit them. Thanks Grandma!!
Emily is crawling all over the place now. She is our little puppy dog and likes to follow us around the house. It was quite challenging as I was taking down the decorations yesterday, but we finally got it done after I gave her a bottle. Sometimes we can put her in her room with her toys and she will stay in there and play for awhile and we can get some things done.
Some things that she likes at 9 1/2 months ~

I love her hairdo there. I'm glad she likes to shop with you! She's off to a good start!
I love when she makes her scrunchy face, too! What a cutie!!! :)
Now there's a kid that likes plasticware. I'll bet she starts cooking soon, too. Congrats.
Sophie June has that fleece sleeper and I have one of those rogue Christmas ornaments!
Grandparents are the best aren't they?? Kendall too has that sleeper, these Walker family girls are stylish!
She is so cute! I can't believe she's going to be a year old soon. It seems like she was just a little tiny baby not too long ago.
