Uncle Justin is home!!

We are so excited to finally have Justin back. Now we are just waiting for Katie to come home. Justin just adores Emily and loves to hold her whenever he comes over. She has given him lots of her smiles and loves the extra attention. He was over at our house until 1am his first night which meant that he had been up for 24 hours. Thanks for sacrificing sleep to spend time with us Justin. Zachary and Justin started practicing music for church and it is so fun to listen to them together.

I am trying my hand at some digital scrapbooking hence the page that I posted of Justin and Emily. I found some free digital kits that I can play around with to see if I like it. I still like the hands on approach but I am having fun learning the digital stuff.

I can't believe that Emily will be 6 months old on the 7th of September. She had her 6 month well baby check-up today and weighed in at 15lbs. 13oz. and is 26 inches long. She can now sit up on her own and loves to see things from this view instead of laying on the floor all the time. She is still eating well and we are adding stuff to her diet all the time. So far the only thing that she wrinkles her nose up at are green beans. She loves to be outside and would probably spend all day out there and be totally happy. If only it wasn't so hot out so we could spend more time out there. I am looking forward to the fall weather.

Alicia's baby shower is this weekend and we are looking forward to that. She is such a cute pregnant girl and has had a pretty good pregnancy. Only 5 more weeks until her due date. We can't wait for Emily to have a new little cousin. And then in only 4 more months she will have yet another cousin. A lot of girls are being added to the family.
