solid food and laughter

Well Emily tried solid food last week and she didn't mind it. It was hilarious to watch her eat it. She wasn't to sure about it at first but after a couple of bits she kept wanting to grab for it and whenever she saw the spoon she would open her mouth up very wide. Since she was all about her rice cereal I went and bought her some baby food at Target for .02 a jar. Yep, you heard right that was .02 a jar. And it was even Gerber. I found some coupons for $1.00 off 2 Gerber products and the jars that I found were .52. So I picked up 24 of them. I found some other deals were I got oscar meyer hot dogs for .27 a package, 3 boxes of cookies for free and a 2lt of pepsi for free too. After I picked up a few other things my bill came to $33.00 and I only had to pay $12.87 after tax. Zachary was very proud of me.



Emily has started to laugh a lot lately. She loves to play peek-a-boo and when we pick her up form her nap she gets so excited that she will start to giggle. She is so much fun and we could just sit a play with her forever. It is crazy how a baby can change your life so much. I knew it would be different but it doesn't really set in until you have your first one.
