Camping Fun

We had such a great time camping on the coast this last weekend. We were able to escape the scorching heat here in Redding and go to a much cooler climate in Eureka. I think that it was probably my favorite family camp to date. Largely due to the weather. I am not a warm weather girl. I much prefer the cold overcast days. Emily did awesome!! She loved being outdoors and all the attention from family and friends wasn't bad either. Before we left I had to go buy her a few warm outfits because I didn't have any in her size. I found the cutest clothes and wish that she could wear them longer. At least I got some adorable pictures of her in them. (Lots more to scrapbook) We had originally planned on her sleeping right next to us on some blankets but by the time night rolled around we decided that she needed to sleep in between us to keep warm. Every time we woke up and checked on her she was toasty warm. Probably because I had her in longjohns and a sleeper.
I got my Sonic finally here in town. I know all you Texas, Arizona and Nevada people just took it for granted that you had a Sonic close by. But now we have one and I can have my strawberry limeade fix more than once a year.
