Nursery
The nursery is ready, we are ready, all our family is ready, but apparently Emily is not ready!! My mom finished the last of the bedding today and brought it over. It is absolutely adorable. It is just how I pictured it looking. The room looks so cute and is all ready for Emily to come home and enjoy. I have had no contractions yet but I am told they just come on all of a sudden. So I am waiting (not very patiently mind you). I can tell you that she is an active little thing. She is moving all the time and it is so much fun to sit down and watch my stomach move. (a little weird but fun too) I think Zachary keeps expecting a call while he is at work for him to come home and take me to the hospital but that call hasn't happened yet.
We are planning on going for some long walks this weekend to get things going so hopefully it will work. I still need to finish packing my hospital bag and clean up around here ( the nesting thing hasn't happened for me yet). Maybe Emily is holding off until her mommy is all ready. Here are a few pictures of the nursery. I tried to capture as much of it as I could but it just looks so much better in person.
I love these cute blocks that I got as a shower present
This is the view looking in from the doorway
The cute curtains that my mom made
These are the shelves that Neil hung for us. I love all the cute little things that are on it. Including Zachary and my baby pictures and a little wooden shoe that Zachary got when he was a baby.
This is the crib with the cute bedding that my mom made. I am going to put her footprints and handprints on the 2 side picture frames above the crib and a picture of either just her or the 3 of us in the center one after she is born.
Here is more of a close up of the bedding
The dresser that Emily's great grandparents bought for her. The little outfit that is hanging above the dresser is one that I wore and my sister wore when we were born. The "E" is from her Auntie Bean and Uncle Stain. The picture frames, the "E" and the outfit are all hung on little glass drawer pulls. It looks so cute!!
We are so excited to meet our little girl!!

Sweet pictures. It looks "showroom" worthy. Just wait till she is 1 1/2 and getting into everything. There will be no posting pictures of her bedroom then. Don't have her tomorrow so that your husband can go skiing with us if he feels better. You could just wait till after 9 so we will be on our way home already.
I have seen that room! It looks like a girls room, but I am more fond of the hallway that attaches to the room where my first baby is already sitting!
Oh...My...Gosh...
You so are gonna have to decorate for us if we ever decide to have a baby. That is the most elaborately decorated baby room I've ever seen. It's so cute!!!
It was good talking to you yesterday, I miss y'all so much!
Can't wait to meet our beautiful little niece in 11 days!!!!!!!
Love you!
Looks fabulous Brenda. However I expected nothing less. Can't wait for Emily to enjoy it herself.
Wow! It looks awesome. I can't wait to see your kid either!
It looks beautiful, Emily's a lucky little girl! We can't wait to meet her, but probably not half as much as you!
Hooray!!!!!!!!
Nice room. And it is so lucky that Katie and Jay just happened to give you an E and your daughter's name starts with an E. It would be so embarrasing if they had given you a Q or an X.
