My adorable niece!!

It is not often that we get a picture of her smiling. She is little miss serious. Quite unlike her older brother and sister who all you had to do was look at them and they would have a huge smile, Hope can stare you down with the best of them. She is unlike them also in the fact that she has very curly hair and both Faith and Noah have very straight hair. We have so much fun playing with her and Zachary even thinks she is cute. She had surgery a few weeks ago to have a tube put in her good ear to drain the fluid out. She can't hear out of the other one which is smaller than the good ear because there is a piece of flesh at the end of her ear canal. They can't do anything about it until she is at least 5 and then they are considering having a hearing aid put in. So we have to always make sure that when we talk to her we are on the good side. It is weird because if we say her name and we are on the wrong side she won't respond. At first we think she is just ignoring us but then we realize we are on the wrong side. She has been so much happier since her surgery though. Faith and Noah wanted to nickname her Nemo but Kevin said no. Heather and I thought it was a cute nickname though.
