A fun day of skiing
Yeah, I got a day off work and was able to go skiing with Heather at Mt. Shasta. It will probably be the last time this season as I used the last of the free tickets that we had. It was a good day
for skiing except for the fact that it snowed the whole time. It wouldn't have been that bad but it was a very wet snow and by the end of the day we were drenched. We did get about 11-12 runs in before we decided to call it quits. While we were up there we were hoping to run into the Winkelmans minus Jayden. They decided to take Josh up for his first time on the lift. I am sure you can read all about it over on their blog soon. Well, anyway as Heather and I got off the lift we skied right past Kristi as she was sitting off to the side strapping her board on. She saw us but we failed to see her. She
yelled our names but with a beanie, a hoodie and a jacket hood over my ears I didn't hear her. She tried to chase us down the mountain but we just didn't see her. Either we are just to wrapped up in our skiing or it was snowing so hard that we could barely see our skis swooshing through the powder and we were trying to fight through the blizzard and make it to the bottom before we became a huge snowball. I prefer think it is the latter. We weren't trying to ignore you Kristi I promise!! All in all we had a fabulous day!!

Sounds like fun! I'm glad it was good even though it snowed the whole time. You should have sent some over here!
The close-by ski area stayed open for over 2 weeks up in Flagstaff. I didn't make it this year.

Looks like fun. It did snow a lot last weekend. I had a baseball tournament in Etna this weekend and it was snowing. I would rather have been boarding though.

I was going to say this yesterday but I couldn't get your comments to come up. Anyway, funny that it was snowing up there because it was 92 degrees here this weekend! Needless to say, we didn't do any skiing. I guess we could have water skied :)
When I saw your first picture, I thought that your blog had messed up and that this was an old post! I can't believe it snowed there and you are still skiing!
