A Blast from the Past!

Are you a child of the 80's
Well, that is my decade and I loved it. The other day my mom was cleaning out some closets and came upon some of my old toys. It was so much fun to go through them and then I thought, hey this would make a great blog post. So here they are. Zachary said they look old and gross but I know they were just well loved. My sister and collected Strawberry shortcake doll for a long time and I was even one of them for Halloween once. My mom made me a friendship bear for Christmas one year and I thought he was so cute. (he still is) Original popples all had "P" names and mine was potato chip. We had pound puppies and my little pony too. And don't forget the wonderful swatch watch with the watch guard. It is so much fun to reminisce. To find out if you are a child of the 80"s click here

I'm kinda young to be called an 80's child, since I was born in the 80's, but I think a good portion of that list applies to me.
I loved Fraggle Rock!!!! I can't believe you still have that many toys from your childhood, I'm sure mine are long gone.
Anyway, that was a really cute post filled with good memories! :)

Dude how about GI Joes and Transformers. You're missing the best things. But I was down with the Fraggle Rock and my sister was down with the Strawberry shortcake and my little ponies.
Good stuff.

I don't know if it is right to say you were a child of the 80s when you were also a teenager in the 80s. Wow that sort of puts a different perspective on it. Yes I remember those toys. More of the ones Justin mentioned than the girly ones, although I did have a Huckleberry Fin doll and my Grandma even made me a Strawberry Shortcake and Huckleberry Fin bed spread which I still have. Kristi won't let me use it though:-(

I am very proud that I was not a child of the eighties. Just out of curiousity, how many Strawberry Shortcake characters are there?
