Flowers for the new homeowners
Well, it seems as though I have been away for quite some time. I come back from my cousins wedding and there is a lot more blogs to read. Welcome everyone. I know you all heard that we have our new house from Zachary but I thought you needed to hear my point of view as well. When we did our final walkthru there were flowers on the counter from the realtors congratulating us on our new home which I thought was very sweet for them to do. The very first thing we brought to our new house was a washer and dryer. For those of you who have always done laundry at home it is the most exciting thing to not have to lug your laundry to your parents or in-laws every Sunday and have to wait around while your clothes are washing. Now I can muti task while doing laundry at home.(I think I may even do a scrapbook page on it) After that we brought over the couches and that is about it until Tuesday when Zachary can do more. I have to work Monday and Tuesday so Wednesday I have to finish moving and then clean the apartment because Thursday we have to be out. The other day I was watching my niece and we were taking a nap together and she woke up so Zachary took her out of the room so I could finish my nap and when I woke up and came out in the living room this is what I saw.I just thought it was to funny not to take a picture.
This is my cousin Shane and his new bride Tina with me, my sister Alicia and my niece Faith .We had a great time dancing the night away at the wedding. Alicia and I were in charge of the flowers for the wedding. So after we picked up 60 dozen roses at Costco we headed up to Mt. Shasta a day early to make all the center pieces, bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, and anything elses that involved flowers. The day was absolutely beautiful and we had fun seeing all the family again. Well, I just wanted to update y'all on things here and I am off to bed now so that I can do a little moving in the morning before I have to go to work.

Wow, I am so excited for ya'll. You look so cute on your very own front porch. I completely understand the laundry thing having just got my first washer and dryer in January:)
SWEET!! That's great that y'all finally got in--before Thanksgiving, too!
Having your own washer and dryer is gonna be a wonderful experience! I don't know how you stayed sane before.
I can't believe y'all are still wearing shorts! (And you let him go out in public with the sock/sandal combo going on??! What is he, like 60?)
That picture of Z "watching" Hope is great!
BTW-LOVE the red door!!
I assumed we would see no one that we knew and I really didn't care what the house people thought. I didn't think that Brenda would show a picture of me to the world. And, for your information, those sandals make the bottom of my feet hurt because of the texture so socks help!!!!
I'm so happy for your new house. It's a great feeling to get out of the apartment and into the house with the washer and dryer!
Your cousin's wedding looked beautiful. I imagine you did a terrific job with the flowers.
Have fun in the new house.
Brenda I would love to come and clean your apartment just as long as none of your cleaning utensils have any sort of fowl odor (sponges especially)
Congratulations Brenda and Zachary! Your house is so cute, and I know you will enjoy getting all set up and homey. It looks to me like Zachary is already working on what it takes to be a great dad, based on the pic!
